For the 14 long years celebration of the Cebu Business Month, the festivity of the Cebu business community, its success had been proven subsequently every year to further promote Cebu’s winning industries: TOURISM, ICT & BPO, and ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
From a week-long to a month-long celebration, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has sustained the festivity seeing its significance to Cebu’s business growth towards global competitiveness. This year CCCI widely echoed its flagship, “Get Inspired! Go Green” Â to the whole Cebu community as well as nationwide.
With the enormous support of various member companies who sponsored the celebration from the launching all the way to finish, CBM’10 was indeed a success! Kudos to all those who worked hard and poured their countless efforts! CCCI President Consul Samuel L. Chioson, and CBM’10 overall chairman Felix Taguiam headed the tremendous and remarkable celebration.

Of course, the events will not be made possible without the proficient and absolute expertise of the chairperson volunteers: Dr. Mila C. Espina spearheaded the TOURISM track from the birth of CBM in 1996 until this year and brought great contribution to making Cebu as the best of the best tourist destination in the country. One of the highlighted events in tourism track was the Tourism Congress which gathered close to a thousand participants from all walks of life. Individuals who made waives and brought pride to Cebu in the field of Arts and Culture and in the academe were given recognitions during the Arts and Culture Grandfest and second episode of P.E.O.P.L.E (People Enhancing Opportunities Propelling Leadership Excellence). Local talents were also featured through the weekend mallshows. Events lined-up adhered to the global thrust on the preservation of our mother earth.
Mr. Jerry Rapes also proved his expertise in the field of ICT & BPO. He’s the man behind the success of Cebu ICT & BPO Green Conferences. Over seven hundred (700) participants were shared with the ideas about ICT & BPO career opportunities and on how to develop business and technologies that are eco-friendly.
GreenTrepreneurship Conference would have not been successful without the man behind it who chaired the inspiring events; Mr. Edwin Ortiz deserves innumerable claps for the motivation obtained by the participants. Giving honor and tribute to individuals who succeed in the field of business and inspired a lot of people with their success stories were featured in the Green Trails of Success.
The three-day conference were simultaneously done with the GREEN EXPO showcasing the three major thrusts: Information, Communication & Technology (ICT), TOURISM and ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
